Kylie Minogue beats breast cancer

Kylie Minogue is finally in full remission from her breast cancer according to her sister Danni.

The Can't Get You Out of my Head singer was diagnosed with breast cancer last year after doctors found a malignant tumour, which was swiftly removed. She then underwent an extensive course of chemotherapy.

However, it seems to have paid off, as her sister Danni has now announced on her website that "My best news to start the new year is that my sister has had her 'full remission'."

She continues: "Last year was a difficult year for many people - I'm just happy we have a close family and could all support each other."

The news means Kylie's body is free of cancer cells - but doctors cannot guarantee she is completely cured until she has been in remission for five years.
