Montag, Pratt offered jobs in Costa Rica

A betting site called YouWager has offered Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt $100,000 (£62,340) to leave the US.

According to TMZ, the couple are considering the offer, which would have them relocate to Costa Rica.

Part of the contract would involve the pair working for the site managing "the odds and lines surrounding the entertainment sector - ranging from celebrity news and pop culture to music and movies".

Insiders close to Pratt said that he is looking into purchasing a firearm to protect himself in light of the violence and political tension between Costa Rica and Nicaragua.

Last week, Pratt revealed that he and Montag are facing financial difficulty after the end of The Hills.
