Paul Gascoigne 'throws up on motorway'

Paul Gascoigne allegedly vomited on the M1 while being driven by his business manager earlier this week.

The former footballer, who is due to be sentenced for drink-driving later today, was reportedly travelling away from the area of his court date when he left a trail of sick in the middle lane.

Gascoigne apparently told friends that he was making his way to a treatment centre.

A source told The Sun: "Paul has said before he'd use rehab to get court dates adjourned - but he can't delay the inevitable forever."

It is thought that Gascoigne has been warned he could face Christmas behind bars after being caught four times over the limit.
