Katy Perry takes to Victoria's Secret runway

Katy Perry took to the runway at last night's Victoria's Secret fashion show in New York.

The popstar performed her new single 'Firework' and a medley of her hits including 'California Gurls', 'Teenage Dream' and 'Hot N Cold' at the annual event last night.

She had earlier tweeted about her experience, writing: "Backstage @ the Victoria Secret fashion show... I BET y'all would love a few twit pics today :) these ladies r jaw dropping (sic)."

Akon also performed as the models took to the stage and later joked to ITN: "I get to go backstage and see them change. That's a treat!"

Among the models taking part in the show was Adriana Lima, who was making her first catwalk appearance since giving birth. She modelled the $2 million 'Bombshell Fantasy Bra' designed by Damiani.

Other models who appeared included Alessandra Ambrosio, Karolina Kurkova, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Chanel Iman and Candice Swanepoel.

The show airs November 30 on CBS.
