The former pro wrestler recently applied for and received a marriage licence in Florida, reports TMZ.
The 57-year-old ex-reality star and McDaniel have until January 11, 2011, when the licence expires, to marry.
Hogan and McDaniel, 35, apparently want Los Angeles spiritual "guru" Dr Michael Beckwith to marry them.
"I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life," said Hogan, who divorced wife Linda last year.
Linda recently landed a deal with HarperCollins to write a tell-all book about her life and marriage with Hogan.
