Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the Oscar winner revealed that she found a small tumour in her breast several weeks ago.
The actress underwent a procedure to remove the tumour, which was non-invasive.
The 72-year-old explained that she is now "fine", and plans to resume promoting her new fitness DVDs and line of exercise equipment.
