JC Chasez has reportedly scared off someone who attempted to burgle his home.

TMZ reports that the former 'N Sync star chased a person who tried to break a window at his Hollywood Hills property.

According to law enforcement insiders, Chasez phoned the emergency services after discovering someone outside the house.

Chasez was alerted by a noise downstairs and confronted the person by shouting at them.

The suspect, described as a "white male", then fled the scene while the police responded to the call.
