The Emmy award-winning actress, who is best known for her roles in Muriel's Wedding and United States of Tara, will reportedly relocate from Los Angeles after the birth of her next child.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Collette has accepted a role in Mental and will begin filming on July 4 next year.
Directing the movie is Muriel's Wedding creator PJ Hogan.
