Mathew and Tina Knowles 'stop divorce'

Mathew and Tina Knowles have reportedly ended their divorce proceedings.

According to TMZ, the parents of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles were due to attend a hearing in Harris County, TX yesterday, but were not present.

As a result, the presiding judge dismissed the case.

The website reports that it is unclear whether the no-show was an oversight or a deliberate decision to end the proceedings. However, both parties had hired lawyers to deal with the case and it is therefore believed that the non-attendance was deliberate.

Tina filed for divorce in December 2009, following the revelation that Mathew had fathered a child outside of their marriage.
