The TV presenter is currently promoting his new autobiography Through Thick and Thin and told RTÉ Ten that he had been working gruelling 85-hour weeks.
"I'm at the end of two weeks promo and I'm totally shagged," he said. "But I'm crap with days off - I'm not very good in my own company, I get bored very quickly and I'm a huge attention seeker.
However, he confessed that he knows how to entertain himself if he needs too.
"But if I had to amuse myself I'd find a way to do it. There are still lots of boys out there and bars selling alcohol!" he joked.
Wan previously revealed that he had found writing his book an "absolutely horrendous" experience.
