Pink: 'I want to gain weight in peace'

Pink has asked the press to stop photographing her while she is pregnant.

The singer, who recently announced she is expecting her first child with husband Carey Hart, made a plea on her Twitter page asking the paparazzi to stop taking pictures of her.

She wrote: "My wish for this pregnancy, besides a healthy happy baby, is for the paparazzi to LEAVE US ALONE and let me gain my weight in PEACE."

The 'Raise Your Glass' singer also admitted that she hadn't revealed news of her pregnancy to her father before going public with the news, and asked fans how she should do it.

She posted: "Ok tweethearts: here's my own personal official whatever...... Carey Hart knocked me up and i don't know how to tell my dad. what do i say?

"Maybe I'll ask him to watch The Ellen Show today:) tee hee. no, we're very happy, and I can eat whatever I want. thanks for all the love:)"

She later added: "My daddy is very happy for us:) and my mum wishes me a daughter "just like me." yikes. thanks mum."

The star releases her retrospective LP Greatest Hits...So Far!!! this week, and is on course to chart within the top five.
