Madonna is reportedly house-hunting in New York City.

The news comes amid speculation that her marriage to Guy Ritchie is on shaky ground, a charge the pair have apparently had "a big laugh" about.

According to the Mail on Sunday, Madonna is "thinking it might be time to come home."

A source said: "It's not too far from Manhattan, but far enough to be a haven of peace for her and her son Rocco and daughter Lourdes. Madonna has told family members she's homesick."
