Gibson: 'Infant injury images are fake'

Mel Gibson has reportedly accused ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva of doctoring images of their baby daughter to include injuries he supposedly inflicted.

The Edge Of Darkness star claimed that his former partner faked a photo of 9-month-old Lucia sporting a cut on her chin in an attempt to extort money from the actor in the wake of his alleged domestic abuse.

According to The Sun, Gibson responded to the claims by submitting a video of an unharmed Lucia, apparently taken days after the supposed attack, to a Los Angeles court.

Legal documents filed on Gibson's behalf state: "A close-up video of Lucia sent by Oksana on January 9, 2010, three days after the alleged incident, shows her claims over Lucia are false. It reveals no indication of an abrasion or other type of injury."

The papers add that a doctor who examined the baby also failed to find any indication of injury.
