Goldblum refused new restraining order

Jeff Goldblum has been denied a restraining order against a woman he accuses of stalking him since as early as 2001.

According to TMZ, Goldblum was seeking the order against a woman named Linda Ransom, who is currently being held in a mental health institution.

The actor issued the request after learning that Ransom, who has a history of arrests for stalking, is due to be released from custody within the next few days.

Goldblum previously secured a restraining order against the woman, but it expired during her time in the institute.

The residing judge on the case has ruled that Goldblum must wait for Ransom to provide a "fresh threat" before a new order can be issued.
