Lohan must stay with father for holidays

Lindsay Lohan is to spend Thanksgiving with her father after reportedly being denied permission to leave California by the Betty Ford Centre.

According to TMZ, the actress will spend the holiday at home with father Michael Lohan, close to the rehabilitation clinic.

It is believed that Lindsay had hoped to fly out to New York for Thanksgiving to spend the the holiday with her mother and other family members.

The report also suggests that Michael has extended an invitation to ex-wife Dina Lohan to join the pair, but that Dina has declined to do so.

Last month, a judge ruled that Lindsay must remain in a rehabilitation facility until at least January 3, 2011.
