Gibson 'wants full custody of daughter'

Mel Gibson is expected to appear in court on Monday in order to ask for full custody of his daughter Lucia.

Gibson will head to LA County Superior Court to request that his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva be stripped of custody of their daughter, reports TMZ.

Gibson has decided to appear in person in order to emphasise how serious he is about getting full custody of Lucia. He allegedly believes that Grigorieva is endangering Lucia by promoting a "smear campaign" that Gibson claims to be lies, and reportedly wants the presiding judge to give his former partner supervised visitation rights only.

Gibson is also said to want her to have no overnight stays with their daughter for at least six months, at which point the court can re-evaluate.
