Katy Perry praises Pink's AMAs performance

Katy Perry has praised Pink following her performance at the American Music Awards.

The 'So What' singer, who performed her latest single 'Raise Your Glass' at last night's event, jumped around the stage and smashed a glass on a dancer's head.

Perry sent a message via the micro-blogging site her after the performance, which said: "You looked and sounded great tonight!!!! xoxoxoxo".

Pink replied with the message: "I [love] you!!!".

The star, who released her greatest hits album last week, also thanked fans for their comments about the performance.

She wrote: "Thank you to everyone that rocked the stage with me 2nite. The Dan Band is the best!!! My ta ta's were the stars of the show, let's be honest," adding: "I think Kid Rock killed it tonight. had to add that...thanks. bye (sic)."
