Jessica Szohr 'wants to stay a normal girl'

Jessica Szohr has insisted that she tries to maintain privacy by not discussing the details of her love life with the media.

In an interview with Savvy magazine, the Gossip Girl star suggested that she tries to live her life like any "normal girl" would.

"With things in my personal life, if I talk about it, it doesn't stay personal," she said. "I'm just a normal girl who really enjoys her job, and so you have to take the other things that come with being in the public eye."

The star added that she no longer concerns herself with what the public believes about her romantic relationships.

She remarked: "People are going to make assumptions, but I try to be good at what I do and work hard."

Szohr will next star in Art Machine, which is released in 2011.
