The mother-of-eight said that sextuplets Colin and Alex, aged 6, are working with a private tutor voluntarily after struggling to adapt in a regular classroom.
"Two of my children, no, are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum," she told Entertainment Tonight.
"The pressure was getting to them... You have the divorce anger mixed in with that. They needed some breathing time."
However, Gosselin insisted that the move is in no way permanent, adding: "The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible."
