Joan Hart: 'Bi-coastal parenting is hard'

Melissa Joan Hart has admitted that she struggles with bi-coastal parenting.

The actress - who is mother to 4-year-old Mason and 2-year-old Braydon - revealed that she only sees the kids every other week because of travelling back and forth between the family home in Connecticut and Los Angeles, where she films Melissa and Joey.

"It’s kind of stressful. I just had the last six weeks off and I got to be home [in Connecticut]," she told People.

"Now I’m going to go back to the West Coast for the next five months. My kids are in school so they have to be here - it is really hard."

She added: "We’re just taking it a month at a time. I see them every other week. It’s difficult but at least I can also focus on work and then go home and be a mum."
