Anthea Turner accepts fertility blow

Anthea Turner has revealed that she has finally accepted that she may never have children.

The presenter realised how lucky she is to be alive after losing two close friends to breast cancer, including ex-Blue Peter host Caron Keating.

"In the space of a few weeks I buried two of my friends," Anthea told The Mirror. "I thought, I can't go on moaning about the one thing in life I haven't got, because if I'm not careful I'll forget all the lovely things in life I have got - a great husband, three lovely step-children and a great life.

"And I think that's when I started to turn myself around."

Turner returns to our screens tomorrow night for new BBC Three show Anthea Turner: Perfect Housewife.
