Speaking to The Daily Mirror, the Roxy Music frontman explained that he often finds himself lost for words in social situations.
"I'm not great at all with women. I've got no confidence. I'm terrible at chatting up girls. Dreadful," he said. "I've never been the guy in the nightclub who could go up to women and know what to say."
Ferry added that he's tried to study friends who frequently date gorgeous woman, but has never been able to pick up their techniques.
The musician added: "I've sat back and watched other men do it. Some guys, like [Roxy Music bandmate] Brian Eno, are completely remarkable. That's never been me. Ever. I've always found it difficult to meet girls."
Ferry recently released the solo LP Olympia
