Peter Kay denies Brits snub

Peter Kay has denied rumours that he won't be attending the Brit Awards this year.
Last week it was reported that the comedian was avoiding the ceremony because he didn't wish to spend time with "London tossers". Instead it was claimed that a booth was being set up for him in Manchester to provide voice-over links for the ceremony.
However, according to The Mirror, Kay has insisted that although his links will be pre-recorded in Manchester, he still plans to be at the awards.
The star is up for Best British Single for (Is This The Way To) Amarillo with Tony Christie.
