A lawyer has reportedly taken legal action against actor Chris Noth for over $109,000 (£70,000).

Attorney Samuel Hagan said that he did business with Noth while the Sex And The City star was co-owner of New York City nightclub Cutting Room.

According to the New York Post, Hagan claims that Noth and his business partner Steve Walter never paid him back a $109,000 retainer fee that was refunded to them by mistake.

Hagan also asserts that Walter hid the club's assets in an effort to not pay Hogan back.

The club closed in January 2009.
