Eva Longoria 'is not adopting a child'

Eva Longoria is not planning to adopt a child in the wake of her divorce, sources have said.

It was reported over the weekend that Longoria, who recently filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker, was looking to adopt a child from Haiti.

However, a source told People that the rumours are "not true", adding that the Desperate Housewives actress has no future plans to extend her family.

Longoria has been described as "devastated" over the divorce. A friend added: "She is simply heartbroken."
