John Lydon: 'I'm losing my sight'

John Lydon has revealed that he is beginning to lose his sense of sight.

Speaking to The Times Of London, the rocker admitted that he has begun to fear he will eventually go blind.

"My eyesight's going. There's nothing I can do," he said.

Lydon continued: "I'd rather go blind than chance treatment with a laser, a friend of mine had that and it went wrong. Now he's almost blind in one eye.

"But if I lose my eyesight, I lose my life. I'd rather give up my ears than my eyes, which might sound unusual for a musician."

It was previously reported that Lydon and his family are struggling to move past the death of his stepdaughter.
