Mischa Barton 'to launch fashion line'

Mischa Barton has said that her next project will be to focus on a fashion line.

The former O.C. actress has struggled to establish herself in acting projects since the end of the teen drama, and saw her last TV venture The Beautiful Life axed after a handful of episodes in 2009, before experiencing some high-profile personal problems.

Barton told Tatler that she planned to focus on launching her own range of clothing in the near future.

She said of the project: "My line is going to reach women in their teens, 20s and 30s, who want to be fashionable but at an affordable price.

"It doesn't have to be deadly expensive to get amazing clothes."
