Lucas, Stone are "perfect together"

Isabel Lucas and Angus Stone have been described as a "perfect" couple.

The Australian actress, who is best known for her roles in Home and Away and Transformers 2, stepped out in public for the first time with musician Stone at the recent ARIA awards in Sydney.

A friend of the couple told NW magazine: "They have the same taste in music, love cooking and have the same sense of humour. They're pretty perfect together.

"They started fairly relaxed and only saw each other every so often - now they see each other most nights.

"Isabel and Angus wanted to walk the red carpet together and show how much they like each other. They don't normally like doing glitzy events - but they made an exception for the ARIAs because Isabel thought it was about time they went public.

"Isabel doesn't care if anyone thinks he's scruffy and rough around the edges - he's exactly the kind of guy she likes. He's laid-back and unpretentious. Angus doesn't care about the whole Hollywood thing, he's happy surfing and walking on the beach with her."
