Barry 'denies affair with Longoria's husband'

Erin Barry has denied claims that she had an affair with Eva Longoria's husband Tony Parker.

In a post on her official website, Erin suggested that speculation of an alleged affair derives from the fact that she is divorcing Parker's former San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry.

She wrote: "I DID NOT HAVE AN AFFAIR WITH TONY PARKER, nor did I 'pursue' Tony Parker… Unfortunately, because our divorces are occurring at the same time, great speculation has been cast on our friendship."

Erin admitted to having a platonic relationship with Parker, but asserted that any suggestion that she was ever romantically involved with Longoria's estranged spouse is unfounded.

"My friendship with Tony Parker had nothing to do with the end of my marriage (which is painful enough without this added drama), and to assume that we had an affair is naïve, ridiculous, and completely misguided," she noted.

Last month, both Longoria and Parker filed legal paperwork to end their marriage.
