Madonna denies forcing Kabbalah on Guy

Madonna has rubbished claims that she forced her husband Guy Ritchie to study the Kabbalah.

The singer insists that she has not made her belief in the religion, which derives from Judaism, a necessity in their relationship, but instead that Guy can explore his own beliefs himself.

When asked if Kabbalah caused a problem for their marriage she said: "No problem at all. I would say he studies (Kabbalah), but probably not as enthusiastically as I do.

"He does it in his own way. He's into more of the intellectual side of it than I am.

"I didn't meet him and say, 'You have to believe in the same things I believe in.' My credentials are to be a decent human being.

"I would say he believes in God. Maybe he always did, but Brits are kind of allergic to the idea (of God)."
