The former Miss Universe Australia, who recently replaced Lara Bingle as the face of the swimwear range, said that she found it difficult to keep her new position a secret from people.
Finch told the Sunday Herald Sun: "It has been particularly hard keeping Mum quiet. It has been so exciting, as this is my first official campaign since Miss Universe."
A spokesperson for Speedo added: "Lara has been the face of the brand for three years, but with the brand moving forward we felt we needed a fresh face.
"Rachael fits perfectly with our brand ethos. She is a natural beauty with a love for sport and the outdoors."
