The Australian actor, who is best known for his role in Crocodile Dundee, had all charges of tax fraud and money laundering against him dropped by the Australian Crime Commission after years of being accused of being a criminal.
Hogan told The Daily Telegraph: "I wanted to be exonerated because I didn't do anything wrong - and that is hard for people to believe because where there is smoke, there is fire.
"I have been publicly declared to be a criminal, a fraud, money launderer and tax evader. I became Mr Tax Evasion - every time there was a story about some poor old pensioner who gets caught for tax evasion my name would somehow get into it too.
"I used to have a lot of calls from around the world to be a pitch man. I would receive many invitations a month to be involved in well-paying advertising work. Now that has been destroyed - no-one calls me and I haven't spoken to my agent in months. I'm black-marked."
