Celebrities return to Twitter after raising $1m

They were among a string of stars who vowed to avoid social networking as part of a "digital death" campaign aiming to raise money for Keys's Keep A Child Alive foundation.
The $1 million target was reached on Monday after pharmaceutical businessman Stewart Rahr donated $500,000 to the funds already raised by the public.
"We did it! Thank you sooooooo much for your support and for CARING about whats going on in the world!!!! (sic)" wrote Keys on her Twitter account.
"Big Shout to YOU!! ALL THE ARTISTS involved!!! And STEWIE RAH!!! Together we raised $1M to fight AIDS and SAVE REAL LIVES!!!"
Kardashian wrote on her own feed: "I am back from the dead! Thank you all so much for your donations and contributions! I have missed u all so much!!!"
Other stars who participated in the campaign included Khloe Kardashian, Lady GaGa, Justin Timberlake, Swizz Beatz, Elijah Wood and Jay Sean.
Keep A Child Alive, which was co-founded by Leigh Blake, aims to raise money to help children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
