Elizabeth Edwards passing 'was peaceful'

The author and wife of Democratic politician John Edwards passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer.
A source close to the Edwards told People that the 61-year-old spent her final hours surrounded by family and close friends and that she is finally "at peace".
"After so much pain the past several years, it was an easy passing, and she deserved that," the insider added.
