The comedian, who is best known as the host of Top Gear Australia, said that tonight's industry event and tomorrow's AFI awards in Melbourne could be like his wedding day or could signify the end of his career.
Jacobson told the Herald Sun: "I don't think I'm a good flower arranger. There are a lot of things I can do in a theatre, but that is the one thing I'm not going to make a fist of - I'm going to make a foot of it.
"This is my wedding day... or it's the end of my career. This could be my divorce from entertainment. If I do this really badly, I'm about to be divorced, dumped, dropped."
He also said that he thought crime drama Animal Kingdom would win lots of awards.
