Elle Fanning 'emulated Dakota's career'

Elle Fanning has admitted that her older sister Dakota's success inspired to begin her acting career.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Elle suggested that she was impressed by Dakota's dedication to the profession.

"I grew up seeing her do it, so I wanted to try it too," she said.

The 12-year-old star also revealed that she enjoys her work because she's given the chance to explore a wide variety of experiences.

She explained: "My favourite part of my job is portraying different types of people. As long as I'm drawn to a character, I'll try it."

Elle will next star in Somewhere, which is released on December 22 in US cinemas.
