Darren Day has been spotted sleeping in a car borrowed from a friend, The People claims today.
The stage star was kicked off Channel 4 reality show The Games after failing to turn up. He had previously been staying in hotels paid for by producers.
"All his friends and family are very worried," a pal told the newspaper. "He is a troubled man. They are all helping him as best they can. Everyone was delighted when he got on The Games but he has messed that up. He is hanging around North London - and that is where he got himself in a lot of trouble before.
"He could have been a big TV star but now he has been reduced to sleeping in this car and hanging round with some dodgy characters. It's sad."
