The Nip/Tuck star filed the documents in Los Angeles on Friday, effectively ending their six-year marriage, reports TMZ.
He is said to have asked for joint physical and legal custody of their 7-year-old daughter and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
Walsh has also agreed to pay spousal support.
