Michael Bublé recounts proposal to fiancée

Michael Bublé has recounted how he proposed to his fiancée Luisana Lopilato.

The 'Haven't Met You Yet' singer became engaged to Argentinian actress Lopilato during a vacation to her home country in November 2009.

During an appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show With Jay Leno on Tuesday, the star was asked how he had popped the question and where he had hidden the ring.

"I put the ring in my pants! I had to hide it because I walked into her family's house," he replied.

"Her mum and dad don't speak English, her brother doesn't speak English. Her sister, sort of - a little bit. I'd asked them for their permission before and I had studied my very best. I got down on my knee in front of her family and said what I think meant, 'I would love to marry you'."

He also confirmed that the pair will wed in April.

Bublé was a guest on the show alongside Gulliver's Travels actor Jack Black and the pair embarked on an impromptu sing-off after Bublé recalled the host of Rove in Australia requesting one during their last joint appearance on a talkshow.
