Billy Bob Thornton proud of Angelina Jolie

Thornton and Jolie were married in 2000 and divorced in 2003.
Speaking to Hollywood Life, the actor revealed that he and Jolie still talk "every now and then", and that he is looking forward to her directorial debut.
"She seems to be doing very well directing her own movie, which I am so proud of her for," the 55-year-old said.
Jolie is directing a controversial as-yet-untitled wartime love story that takes place at the start of the Balkans conflict.
Thornton added: "I always thought she should do that, writing and directing. She's real smart, and very creative, and I think it's a great job for her."
