The show will be the first time Seinfeld has performed in the UK since his sell-out summer 1998 shows.
The actor will appear at London's O2 Arena - which holds a 20,000 capacity - on June 3. However, some fans have reacted negatively to the news that tickets will cost more than £100 through the official seller, Ticketmaster.
According to The Guardian, Seinfeld was quoted as saying that he is "terribly, terribly sorry" about the prices.
He added: "I really had to let the English promoter guide us in that because I don't know the market that well."
