In an interview with USA Today, Eckhart explained that he is impressed with Kidman's commitment to her marriage.
"Nicole is extremely in love with her husband," he said.
The Dark Knight star added: "She absolutely adores him and loves to talk about him and is so proud of him and is so happy in her marriage with her child. She radiates love."
Kidman and her country star husband married in 2006 and are parents to 2-year-old daughter Sunday Rose.
Rabbit Hole is released on December 17 in US cinemas.
