Sam Lutfi behind Lindsay Lohan threats?

Reps for Lindsay Lohan have reportedly named Sam Lutfi as the man behind a number of threatening calls and texts recently received by the actress.

According to TMZ, Lutfi - who was previously close to Britney Spears - was identified by the telephone he used to send the messages, in which he falsely identified himself as well as urged her to stay away from her mother Dina.

However, both Lutfi and Lohan's father Michael have insisted that he is not involved in the matter, with Lutfi claiming that the star shares reps with Britney Spears and that they are out to get him.

Meanwhile, Michael told X17 Online: "No, [he isn't stalking her] at all. Communicating, yes. But stalking, no way. Has hasn't even been to Palm Springs. The stalking was done by someone around the sober house Lindsay lives in.

"Sam, like others, including me, has been the victim of a smear campaign so people could control Britney, just as it was done to me with Lindsay. Do the math. Are people that stupid and blind?"
