Duff McKagan undergoes sinus surgery

Duff McKagan has undergone sinus surgery to remove scar tissue caused by his past cocaine addiction.

The rocker was previously rumoured to have had a relapse into drugs after checking into a hospital for an unknown procedure earlier this month, but has since denied the reports.

"Thank you all for the very nice well-wishes regarding my sinus surgery recovery," he said in a statement released to website RockAAA.

"I do want to make it clear for those of you who may be wondering... The surgery was a result of scar tissue build-up from my cocaine use which ended 16 years ago. I have not relapsed on cocaine."
