Houghton: 'Doctors try to sell surgery'

Chantelle Houghton has claimed that cosmetic surgeons try to push procedures on to patients.

The former Big Brother star told today's New magazine that she opted for her breast implants when she was having issues regarding her sense of self.

Houghton said: "When I wanted it, I wanted to change everything about me.

"I should never have messed around. I don’t agree with it. The people who sell surgery are just trying to sell you a product. They don’t give a s**t about how you feel."

Houghton has previously complained that her breasts are too large, while her ex-husband Preston has suggested that she get her implants removed.

Of her new relationship after her final split from Preston, she added: "I don’t want to talk too much about it, but I am very happy and it’s going really, really well at the moment."
