The Scream actor has filed a lawsuit against Yoostar Entertainment, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Kennedy claims that Yoostar failed to come through on a promotional agreement and owes him $250,000 (£161,121) and stock options.
The Jamie Kennedy Experiment star received $500,000 (£322,242) to make a personal appearance to promote Yoostar, which uses a new technology to allow users to insert themselves into TV and movie scenes.
"Yoostar gives you the power to insert yourself into a movie, TV show or background then post and share your performances," reads a message on its official site.
Yoostar reps have not commented on the lawsuit.
