McGraw 'struggles to buy Hill's Xmas gifts'

Tim McGraw has admitted that he struggles each year to buy his wife Faith Hill's Christmas gifts.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Country Strong star revealed that he selected the more obvious presents for his spouse early on in their marriage.

"We were both very lucky and we both had really good careers when we got married, so you go in for the big things at first because you can afford it," he said.

McGraw continued: "Then every year after, you run out of things to get, so it starts to become smaller stuff… Finally, it gets [to] the point where it's like, 'You get me a pair of socks, and I'll get you a pair of socks, and we'll call it even'."

Country Strong is released on January 7 in US cinemas and on March 4 in the UK.
