The former wrestler underwent a ten-hour procedure to rebuild his spine on Wednesday, reports E Online.
The surgery was said to be necessary because of "wear and tear" sustained over the years of his fighting career.
"Going for broke in six hrs.rollin all the marbles,I bet on me..I love all u maniacs! Se all u guys soon (sic)," Hogan wrote on his Twitter page before the procedure.
He was previously hospitalised in September with severe spasms and later underwent surgery in October after injuring his back while collecting seashells.
