88-year-old Rosa Lee Ransby escaped from a fire in Atlanta, GA with her 4-year-old great-granddaughter last Tuesday. They lost all of their possessions in the fire.
According to The AP, Perry previously offered to pay their rent and utility bills for a year, and buy them new furniture. The filmmaker and actor has now reportedly pledged to rebuild their home entirely.
Coweta County Fire Chief Todd Moore said that Perry's decision "made my Christmas".
