A housekeeper who stole from a number of celebrity clients has been jailed for three years.
35-year-old Lucyna Turyk-Wawrynowicz stole clothes, jewellery and credit cards from homes in New York, including that of Robert De Niro's wife, and must serve a minimum of one year, after making a plea deal.
Judge Renee White said during sentencing: "You have shown no remorse for your actions, but only remorse for your predicament."
Turyk-Wawrynowicz has said that she only stole from De Niro's wife because she thought she was a bad employer. "I only stole from people who didn't treat me with respect," she explained.
